ABSTRACT: Autoimmune blistering diseases refer to a diverse group of conditions that primarily target the skin and mucosa. However, in some cases, other organ systems can be involved, depending on the specific pathophysiology of the disease. Owing to the increased possibility of blindness associated with delayed diagnosis and treatment, it is essential to be aware of and detect ocular manifestations of these diseases at an early stage. The present article discusses the various oral mucosal lesions encountered in daily practice with emphasis on the ocular manifestations of each lesion.
